The owl back as meaning " seeing the whole " , ie it through wisdom, gives us the possibility of seeing things in their entirety , the conscious and the unconscious. This animal has the ability to see in the dark , which also means expanding the limits of perception. Owl connects all parts of the being , and allows overcoming fear and learning quality awareness exists and flowing at all levels .

The powers of the owl are clairvoyance, astral projection and magic . In essence , the owl sees what others do not see , and may have more insights about other people than herself . But even so , the power of this animal can be invoked to arouse the person the ability to look at himself in search of a more full vision about themselves , or aspects that still remain unclear and need to be seen .

In the Guarani tradition, the Great Spirit , Father-Mother Creator , Ñamandu , manifested in the form of a hummingbird and also in the form of an owl , creating wisdom.

Rumi

THE SOUL'S FRIEND

Listen to your essential self, the Friend.
When you feel longing, be patient,
and also prudent, moderate with eating and drinking.

Be like a mountain in the wind.
Do you notice how it moves? There are sweet
illusions that arrive to lure you away.

Make some excuse to them, "I have indigestion,"
or "I need to meet my cousin."

You fish, the baited hook may be fifty
or even sixty gold pieces, but is it really
worth your freedom in the ocean?

When traveling, stay close to your bag.
I am the bag that holds what you love.
You can be separated from me!

Live carefully in the joy of this friendship.
Don't think, But those others love me so.

Some invitations sound like the fowler's whistle
to the quail, friendly, but not quite
how you remember the call of your soul's Friend.

O Som do om ..

  homemeditate

Mantras, sacred chants, come in all shapes and sizes. They can be composed of sentences, single words, or even single syllables; they can be perfectly intelligible or completely mystifying (at least to the uninitiated).Single-syllable mantras, known as bija (seed) mantras, are the easiest to remember and recite; they're also the most powerful. It's believed that, just as a tiny seed contains a majestic tree, each bija contains vast amounts of spiritual wisdom and creative force. One of the oldest and most widely known of these seeds is om.Om is frequently called the pranava, literally "humming," a word that derives from pranu, "to reverberate," and ultimately from the root nu, "to praise or command" but also "to sound or shout." It is the audible expression of the transcendental, attributeless ground of reality.Om is the "primordial seed" of the universe—this whole world, says one ancient text, "is nothing but om." It is also considered to be the root mantra from which all other mantras emerge and to encapsulate the essence of the many thousands of verses of Hinduism's holiest texts, the Vedas. According to the Katha Upanishad (2.15), om is the "word which all the Vedas rehearse."

As such, om is the meditative seed par excellence. Patanjali—who wrote the Yoga Sutra and is considered to be the father of classical yoga—taught that when we chant this sacred syllable and simultaneously contemplate the meaning of it, our consciousness becomes "one-pointed: and prepared for meditation. In a commentary on the Yoga Sutra, the ancient sage Vyasa noted that through chanting om, "the supreme soul is revealed." In a similar vein, Tibetan scholar Lama Govinda wrote that om expresses and leads to the "experience of the infinite within us." Thus, chanting om may be the easiest way to touch the Divine within your very self.

Yogis often meditate on the four "measures," or parts, of om. Though commonly spelled om, the mantra actually consists of three letters, a, u, and m. (In Sanskrit, whenever an initial a is followed by a u, they coalesce into a long o sound.) Each of these three parts has numerous metaphysical associations, which themselves serve as meditative seeds. For example, a (pronounced "ah") represents our waking state, which is also the subjective consciousness of the outer world; u(pronounced "ooh") is the dreaming state, or the consciousness of our inner world of thoughts, dreams, memories, and so on; and m is the dreamless state of deep sleep and the experience of ultimate unity.

By contemplating the meaning of each of these letters as we chant them, we are led through the three states of our ordinary consciousness to the mantra's fourth part, the anusvara (after-sound):om. The vibration slowly dissolves into silence, symbolic of the transcendent state of consciousness, equated with Brahman (the Absolute). This silence is the crown of the mantra; it is described in the Maitri Upanishad as "tranquil, soundless, fearless, sorrowless, blissful, satisfied, steadfast, immovable, immortal, unshaken, enduring."

Grace ..

Ele escreveu: " Eu fui à floresta porque queria viver deliberadamente,

               ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

The words "gratitude" and "grace" share a common origin:

the Latin word gratus, meaning "pleasing" or "thankful.

" When you are in a deep state of gratitude, you will often spontaneously feel the presence of grace.

The grace in receiving a human life is that it grants you the capacity to experience

that which is beyond the mind and body

—call it God, emptiness, Brahman, Allah, or the Ground of the Absolute.

Reflect on this: You, with all your flaws, have been chosen for this opportunity to consciously taste life, to know it for what it is, and to make of it what you are able. This gift of a conscious life is grace, even when your life is filled with great difficulty and it may not feel like a gift at the time. When Henry Thoreau went into retreat at Walden Pond, he and his friend Ralph Emerson had been studying Hindu, Buddhist, and Taoist texts. He wrote: "I went to the woods because I wished to live deliberately, to front only the essential facts of life and see if I could not learn what it had to teach, and not, when I came to die, discover that I had not lived." He understood that conscious life was a gift for which the highest form of gratitude was to know it in all its depths.

This grace of conscious life, of having a mind that can know "this moment is like this," is the root of all wonder, from which gratitude flows. The wonder, the mystery, is that you, like everyone else, are given this short, precious time of conscious embodiment in which you can directly know life for yourself. However you find life to be—cruel or kind, sorrowful or joyous, bland or stimulating, indifferent or filled with love—you get the privilege of knowing it firsthand.

Gratitude for the grace of conscious embodiment evolves into the practice of selfless gratitude, in which your concerns slowly but surely shift from being mostly about yourself and those close to you to being about all living beings. As this occurs, you need less and less in the way of good fortune. It becomes enough that there are those who are happy, who are receiving love, who are safe, and who have a promising future. It is not that you would not prefer good things for yourself, but your sense of well-being is no longer contingent on external circumstances. You are able to rejoice that amidst all life's suffering there exists joy. You realize that pain and joy are part of a mysterious whole. When this state of selfless gratitude starts to blossom, your mind becomes more spacious, quieter, and your heart receives its first taste of the long-sought release from fear and wanting. This is grace.

Thanks God for more one day !

                           more one year!

I m so graateful to feel loved and supported

by the people in my life.

Their presence in my life is a gift.

A Solstice Practice ..

SHINE ON
 Namaste.

Gather your tribe and light the candles because the longest night of the year is almost here. Tomorrow, December 21, we celebrate the Winter Solstice,  a universally sacred occasion honored for centuries as a time to gather around a blazing fire, cheeks flushed and hearts warmed in soulful celebration.
SILENT NIGHT
In yoga, and in astrology, the sun symbolizes the soul. The word “solstice,” in Latin, means sun standing still, so in a sense, we could say the soul stands still on the solstice—maybe even long enough for you to catch a glimpse of it, as some legends say you can at this divine time of year.
The longest night (meaning it contains the most hours of darkness) is a deeply-trusted nocturnal delight, a sort of spiritual pillow where we rest our head and nestle under soft layers of a velvety void. The darkest night contains the most magnetic power, too; this is a time to draw forth what you want, to incubate your best intentions. As you’re cuddling in the cradle of a lingering midnight, nurture high hopes for your best new year ever.
SOLSTICE PRACTICE
Winter Solstice in the Northern hemisphere coincides with the sun’s ingress into earth-sign Capricorn, the sign traditionally aligned with the knees. Kneel in gratitude for your body, your practice, your life. Let saying the word knees be a kind of yogic mnemonic for thinking about your needs. Which ones really could use some attention now? While you are working on the answer to that question, please your knees in these poses, which connect you to Mother Earth.
Virasana (Hero Pose): Begin in a kneeling position. As you sit back, let this pose remind you of your most heroic self. Courageous in the face of darkness, you carry an inner light.
Malasana (Garland Pose): Keeping with the spirit of the season, the name of this asana is reminiscent of holiday wreaths and the fresh scent of pine—which is actually an aromatherapy associated with the month of Capricorn. As you squat on the earth and feel its support, remember that you are harnessing the energies of Capricorn, an earth sign.
Padangusthasana (Standing Big Toe Pose): In this standing forward bend, let your gaze rest on your knees. Offer gratitude for the support they bring to your every step. Thank them for carrying you forward into the joyous new year.
SHINE ON
Winter Solstice has been a time of celebration, rest, and emotional and physical nourishment for thousands of years. The Feast of Saturnalia was a grand fête held in ancient Rome around this time of year to honor the greatness of Capricorn’s planetary ruler, Saturn. As you enjoy the longest night and the brightest lights of the season, please remember this: your soul is the light of the world. You carry the light within you. You shine.
Wishing you a soulful Winter Solstice, and a joyful New Year. Namasté.

I m Yours ...

..♪..♪..♪
Well, you done done
me and you bet I felt it
I tried to be chill
but your so hot that I melted
I fell right through the cracks,
and I’m tryin’ to get back
before the cool done run out
I’ll be givin it my best test
and nothin’s gonna stop me
but divine intervention
I reckon it’s again my turn
to win some or learn some
But I won’t hesitate
No more, no more
it cannot wait,
I’m yours!
Well open up your mind
and see like me
open up your plans
and damn you’re free
look into your heart
and you’ll find love love love
listen to the music of the moment
maybe sing with me
a la peaceful melody
It’s your God-forsaken right
to be loved, love, loved, love Love
So I won’t hesitate
No more, no more,
it cannot wait
I’m sure.
There’s no need to complicate
Our time is short
This is our fate,
I’m yours!
I’ve been spendin’ way too long
checkin’ my tongue in the mirror
and bendin’ over backwards
just to try to see it clearer
my breath fogged up the glass
and so I drew a new face and laughed
I guess what I’m a sayin’ is
there ain’t no better reason
to rid yourself of vanity
and just go with the seasons
it’s what we aim to do
our name is our virtue
But I won’t hesitate
No more, no more,
it cannot wait
I’m yours.
Well open up your mind and see like me
open up your plans and damn you’re free
look into your heart and you’ll find the sky is yours
So please, don’t please, don’t please dont’t
there’s no need to complicate
Cause our time is short
this so, this so, this so is our fate
I’m yours!

ZEN ZUNDAY ..

To know Tao
meditate
and still the mind.
Knowledge comes with perseverance.

The Way is neither full nor empty;
a modest and quiet nature understands this.
The empty vessel, the uncarved block;
nothing is more mysterious.

When enlightenment arrives
don't talk too much about it;
just live it in your own way.
With humility and depth, rewards come naturally.

The fragrance of blossoms soon passes;
the ripeness of fruit is gone in a twinkling.
Our time in this world is so short,
better to avoid regret:
Miss no opportunity to savor the ineffable.

Like a golden beacon signaling on a moonless night,
Tao guides our passage through this transitory realm.
In moments of darkness and pain
remember all is cyclical.
Sit quietly behind your wooden door:
Spring will come again.

-Loy Ching Yuen

Para saber Tao
meditar
e ainda a mente.
O conhecimento vem com a perseverança.

O Caminho não é nem completo nem vazio;
a natureza modesta e tranquila compreende isso.
O recipiente vazio, o bloco não esculpido;
nada é mais misterioso.

Quando a iluminação chega
não fala muito sobre isso;
apenas vivê-la em sua própria maneira.
Com humildade e profundidade, as recompensas vêm naturalmente.

A fragrância de flores logo passa;
